Dr. MAK has developed her clinical expertise in adolescent and adult mental health problems. Over the years she conducted training in the education, healthcare and corporate sectors. She is currently an adjunct lecturer in HKU Space, and was invited as the honorary consultants and field supervisors of schools and universities. She advocated for mental health by delivering talks to healthcare professionals such as family physicians and social workers, and reputable corporations such as Deutsche Bank, Prudential Assurance & A.S. Watsons.
Dr. MAK has also promoted mental health awareness through the mass media, such as writing columns on adolescent and adult mental health in Mingpao Weekly, Sing Tao Daily and Kung Kao Pao. She was interviewed by a number of broadcasting companies: such as TVB, RTHK, CRHK, BBC Radio, Cable TV, NOW TV and Phoenix TV, on various psychological issues.
